After some impressive performances thus far this spring, Wake Forest's three 2010 basketball commitments are rising up the charts quickly. According to Scout.com's latest ratings, which were released today, Codi Miller-McIntyre and Aaron Rountree are 4-star, top 100 players and Andre Washington moved up to a 3-star rating. Miller-McIntyre is currently rated as the 74th best overall player and the 12th best point guard. Rountree, previously a 2-star, is now rated as the 82nd best player and 20th at the small forward position. Finally, Washington is rated as the 24th best center. With the 21st center rated in the top 100, it is safe to assume that Washington is a top 125 player at this point and improving steadily after his performance at the Pitt Jam Fest a few weeks ago.
Deacon fans may also note that Stefan Jankovic, who seems to be one of Wake's top remaining 2012 targets, is listed at 84th overall. Others to keep an eye on include: TJ Warren (#46), Arnaud Moto (#49), and Adam Woodbury (#65).
Kudos to Coach Bzdelik and the entire staff for recruiting and securing commitments from these three guys before their rise in the national rankings. Hopefully this will creating some positive momentum heading into the summer recruiting season.
