It was a big news day yesterday, and not in the great news variety. Coach Wojick has left the Demon Deacons for a position at Boise State and Al-Farouq Aminu has officially declared for the draft, although that was no surprise. We have some good news as well today from around the Wake Forest community--LD's dunk contest appearance will air tonight, Kyle Reifers is steadily improving on the Nationwide and some football news is coming out bit by bit.

Reifers spent one season on the PGA TOUR, and the rest of his time has been on the Nationwide Tour. This season he has slowly improved, making three cuts in three tournaments. He had his best showing at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, where he tied for second with Brian Vranesh and Scott Gutschewski, six strokes behind the winner, Argentina's Fabian Gomez.

"I've known Leon from basically recruiting over the years," Wojcik said. "I recruited out in the west and got to know him more and more. We just built a very good relationship, friendship, where he had been watching me from afar, as he says. "I always felt like I could see myself working for him, and we talked about that before. We never knew it would come this quickly, and it did. And that's how it went down, to be honest with you."
