Melvin Tabb in action Monday night (Source: Raleigh N&O)
Monday night was a good one for future Wake Forest basketball players, as three of the five 2010 signees were in action and earned victories.
JT Terrell: Scored 37 points, including nine three-pointers, tallied five rebounds and dished out four assists in a 112-58 win over Porter Ridge. Oh yeah, he only played three quarters to get those numbers.
West Charlotte will face Vance next, which beat a #1 seed and features Wake recruiting targets Marquis Rankin and Braxton Ogbueze. Vance has beaten West Charlotte twice this season, but the Lions have already gotten similar revenge on Hopewell and Lake Norman. The Charlotte Observer thinks that Wednesday's matchup should be moved to a larger gym.
Melvin Tabb: Scored 13 points in an easy 83-58 win over Athens Drive. A couple more photos here. Enloe's next game should be a good one as they face a tough Apex team.
Travis McKie: Scored 23 points, including going 12-14 from the FT line, to beat Hopewell (Va.) by ten.
Carson Desrosiers and Tony Chennualt have not started their playoffs yet, but both guys are on teams that are favorites to bring home some hardware. Chennault's team is ranked 10th nationally.
