Lunchtime Links 3/22

Another day with no upsets. It makes our loss look even worse as we're the only "real" upset this year--did anyone really think WKU over Illinois or Az over Utah were "upsets?"

The LA Times has their NBA Draft outlined: Teague at #7, Farouq at #10, James at #23.

The News & Record says that questions still linger for the Deacs.

By the same token, Dan Collins indicates that Wake is looking for answers to those questions.

Clemson has questions of their own.

Who, if anyone, is going to return out of James, Teague and Farouq?

Great article by Terry Pluto (one of the best sportswriters in the country IMO) on the rise of Cleveland State, who plays Arizona today.

Scott Fowler of the Charlotte Observer was less than kind to the Demon Deacons and the ACC in general. Can't say I blame him right now.

The Xavier student paper is hoping that Wake has a silver lining to their loss.

With defense as Wake's staple for so long, it's strange that offense may need to carry them come next year's football season.

The Miami Herald talks about how Miami has handled the NCAA Tournament as a venue and city.

The Wake women are playing Georgetown in the NIT.

Since it's en vogue to talk about Cle-State, the New York Times has weighed in.

Ouch. The Fredericksburg Free-Lance Star has some choice words about the ACC.

And on that note, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm rooting for Duke and Carolina to save the conference.

Once again, we got to hear Greivis Vasquez run his mouth. That may be the last time in college.
