Morning Link Dump- 2/4

A slow news day outside of signing day coverage (I've got something cooking there--so make sure to check back thoughout the day). There's some interesting little game previews too. I can't shake the feeling that tonight's game is going to go to OT.

This guy on FanIQ says Wake is a Final Four team. Something called Barking Carnival agrees. This is a prediction I'm not ready to make yet.

I know it's an AP story, but if feels good to link the preview from the Rocky Mount Telegram. I get the feeling I won't get to link to them often.

Little bitty recap on the women's win over GT from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I'd think their home paper would give them a few more than four graphs--their women's team is a NCAA team and the men's team isn't.

Miami Herald brings up just how tough this stretch of Miami's schedule really is, highlighting that the 'Canes really would love to have a win tonight to stop the skid and regain some momentum.

How about some input on that stretch from the Burlington Times-News too?

In other Wake news, former golfer Cortland Lowe, who graduated in '03, has qualified for the Buick Invitational. He gets to play practice rounds against Bill Haas and Webb.

How's Wake Forest soccer standout Sam Cronin doing?

The Winston-Salem Journal has a nice little discussion about the Deacs on signing day. There's info there about UNC, Duke and State too.

The News and Obsever does the W-S Journal one better and gives information about each recruit.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press talks about Wake Forest's defense. Pretty good coverage here.

StatSheet gives their preview of tonight's game.

The Gwinett Daily Post gives us another story about the clash between the Aminu brothers.

Here are College Hoops.net's profiles on both Aminu and Teague.
