Their fanbases are pissed! And they're in a free-fall! And they were both winning a ton earlier in the season before becoming Les Enfants Terrible! Let's have them play each other! (LOL)"

Naturally, I knew I was going to need to talk to Peter from Burnt Orange Nation. We were all set to get it going...and then life happened. But we finally got to it. Heck, instead of explaining it myself, I'll let him do it since he already wrote about it...

"But I think that’s the biggest thing. You have to come out with energy and emotion. And it’s got to be an aggressive mentality. I told our guys, `If you’re going to make a mistake tomorrow night, make it on the side of aggression’. And that’s exactly what we have to do. And I told Ish (Smith) I just want him to be aggressive. I want him to be in an attack mode. And I think he’ll do that.

"I think as he goes, we go.’‘

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons return home after a horrible five game road stretch last week which saw the Diamond Deacs go 0-5 despite having large leads over nationally ranked Georgia Tech on both Saturday and Sunday. They play host to the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs who come into the game with a 7-10 record, 1-4 on the road. They were victorious over the weekend, shutting Harvard out 9-0. First pitch is slated for 6:04 P.M. and it's a great day so come on out if you're in the area. But if not, just stay in with Blogger So Dear and follow the Diamond Deacs from the comfort of your own home. Go Deacs!

Deacon Dump 3/17: Countdown to the Dance

Not much to say except ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!! Fill out your brackets and make your final predictions; it's almost time. I have been fiddling around and I have to finally put stuff on ink. Neumann-Goretti shot better than 50 percent overall; led by 31 at intermission, when Holy Redeemer was thankful for the brief rest; and let its reserves play while the clock ran without interruption, except for foul shots and time-outs, in the late going.

Tony Chennault paced the relentless attack with 24 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and four steals in 20 minutes. The Wake Forest recruit netted 16 points in the opening 16 minutes.
