For Wake Forest, it starts with their big men Al-Farouq Aminu and Chas McFarland. A solid game by both of those players will likely be enough to push the Deacons onto the next round and a date with No. 4 Virginia Tech. Another key will be the play of freshmen C.J. Harris and Ari Stewart. As Wake’s freshmen shooters go, so goes Wake. If Harris and Stewart are able to get hot, the Deacs will be able to bust zones and take pressure off of Wake’s big men. If the pair goes cold, you may very well see Miami pull off the upset.

Wake-Miami Preview over at SB Nation, with a dime from MRickman84.

Where is David Weaver

Any news on David Weaver and why he's logged minimal time in the last two games after starting the previous three?

A Top 10 list of the college programs that have produced the best NBA talent. Wake checks in at #7.

Quote:

"Yes, Wake Forest has produced only four current NBA players, but just look at the names in the Top 5. Tim Duncan. Chris Paul. Josh Howard. That’s a murderer’s row of talent. (And, no, that doesn’t make Darius Songaila the clean-up hitter. Good question though.)"

Sorry for the spam guys, but I figured you might be interested in the numbers. Wake had an excellent defense in 2008, and their game efficiency against FSU was one of the best I've ever seen.
