Another ACC team with some moving parts to replace. Gone are Ike Opara, Austin da Luz, Corben Bone and Zach Schilawski to MLS. Big seasons will be needed from Austin Lubahn and to alleviate those losses, and it's a reason why the Deamon Deacons were voted to finish fourth in the ACC. By the same token, they were No. 3 in the preseason poll by NCAA.

Jay Vidovich can only hope that he's recruited well and brought in the right players to step into some of these gaps.

I know you Deacs love the hoops. Found this random tidbit that you all should enjoy. It includes several games scheduled by Raycom (unless picked up by ESPN, of course). I only bring it up because the Tech-Wake game isn't the same date as the one you all posted... HT: BCI

Had to get some good news for former Deacon soccer players, so here is the game recap for Cody Arnoux's home debut from August 29.

Two former Decs mentioned in there: Michael Parkhurst and Marcus Tracy. Not great news but hopefully they can get on the field soon.

Would you guys say it's on the mark? I'm personally a big fan of Aminu's, but Rook isn't quite as high on him.
