Wake Forest Basketball Recruiting: Darius Leonard to Visit Today

Donald Miralle

Darius Leonard, a graduate transfer from Campbell, took a visit to Wake Forest today before he makes his upcoming decision.

With a decision upcoming, Darius Leonard is currently on his way to visit Wake Forest. He received an offer from Danny Manning after he got his release, which has been written about here. If he were to come to Wake Forest, he would be a major part of Wake Forest's success this upcoming season.

After this visit, a decision will be coming in the near future. He currently has a list of four schools: Wake Forest, Drexel, Marquette and Miami. He has previously taken visits to Drexel and Marquette. He also plans to visit Miami, but also said that visit is "depending on the visit today." Earlier this afternoon he tweeted, "Major decision being made soon."

Last season, the 6'9" Leonard averaged 10.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game for Campbell. He also had an effective field goal percentage of 55.9%, including a three-point field goal percentage of 38.1%.

More information will come on Darius Leonard in the near future, so continue to check in with Blogger So Dear for updates.
