T.J. Haney out of Gaffney, South Carolina stands at 6'6" and weighs 315 pounds. The offensive tackle prospect currently holds several offers including Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Marshall, Old Dominion, and Yale. According to 247 Sports, Haney is the 18th best prospect in the state of South Carolina. He will announce his decision on April 4th.
Haney will visit Wake Forest this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. This will be his second trip to the campus. The 3-star prospect was kind enough to take the time to chat with Blogger So Dear about Wake Forest and the recruiting process.
T.J. told us that his first visit to Wake Forest was "great" and that the coaching staff "treated him like family." Haney has an excellent relationship with Wake Forest offensive line coach Nick Tabacca.
"Coach Tabacca is great and a one in a million guy. We talk basically every day. He sends me mail almost every day and we talk on Twitter a lot." Haney also has a relationship with head coach Dave Clawson.
"We talk on Facebook some. I've sat down with him and my family and was treated very well."
Many thanks to T.J. for taking the time to Blogger So Dear and we wish him the best of luck in the future no matter where he chooses. You can follow him on Twitter here.
