Wake Forest National Signing Day: Running Backs

Mike Ehrmann

Wake Forest has signed every one of their 25 commits. Now it's time to provide a profile of each player. This article will feature the running backs.

Meet the two running back commits.

Isaiah Robinson - (5-10/223) Independence (North Carolina)

Isiah Robinson comes to Wake Forest by way of Independence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. During Robinson's senior campaign he averaged 6.4 yards/carry and scored 20 touchdowns. That season capped off a career in which Robinson had nearly 5,000 yards of total offense and 49 total touchdowns. Robinson is a physical runner and  has a very solid frame at 5-10, 223 pounds and should be able to be a good between the tackles back for us before his career is finished. Dominique Gibson is the presumed starter headed into next season, but with lack of depth at the position, it's possible Robinson plays next year.

Tyler Henderson - (5-9/180) Collins Hill (Georgia)

Tyler Henderson was named to second team all-state class 6A by Georgia Sportswriters Association. During his senior season he had nearly 2,000 total yards and 27 total touchdowns. Henderson is a shifty runner who has the ability to make people miss. In all likelihood Henderson will redshirt this year and attempt to add on bulk to his 180 pound frame.
