Dillon is listed at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds and runs a 4.5 second 40 according to Rivals. He chose Wake Forest over Colorado, BYU and Fresno State.
The academics at Wake Forest should be right on his level, as Kinkaid HS is a private, highly thought of school in that realm. Ideally he will exceed on and off the field for the Deacs!
Dillon is the sixth player to commit to Wake Forest for the class of 2014 and the second since Friday, when RB Isaiah Robinson committed to the Deacs.
Although he is a two-star, it seems that Dillon impressed at camp recently and was moving up on a lot of recruiting boards. This seems like a great grab for Wake before the big schools get in on him.
As always, welcome to Wake Forest Thomas!
