Wake Forest-UNC animated drive chart

FULL SCREEN VERSION

Animated Drive Chart brought to you by Gameday Depot.

I'll start posting these charts each Monday/Tuesday, or whenever they come out, after a Saturday game played by the Deacs. It gives a pretty good idea of what the offense and defense for the Deacs has done against the opponent the previous weekend. Nothing really groundbreaking, but it is a great visual aid that shows the result of each drive in the game and its result.

Wake recovered nicely in the first half from two punts in the first two possessions to begin the game to reel off three consecutive touchdowns. A missed FG right at the half would have given the Deacs four scores in four possessions. The second half was a completely different story as Wake only managed one touchdown in seven possessions. Although it was enough to get the job done this week, the offense will need to do better than that if Wake Forest is going to contend in Tallahassee this weekend.
