SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011

The BlogPoll results are out for Week 1 and SBNation sites have chosen USC #1, with Alabama and LSU close on their heels. We at Blogger So Dear came in rather plain, placing third in difference between our poll and the overall BlogPoll.

Somebody, somewhere gave Texas a #1 vote in the nation, with Oregon garnering the only other non-"Big Three" vote for #1.

Nobody anywhere picked Wake in their top 25. That puts us behind such powerhouses as Duke, Ball State, New Mexico and Florida Atlantic. I guess we should have stuck up for our boys and slid them at least in 25th.

Overall the poll does a really good job of assessing where teams are at the moment, although it does show we too are susceptible to the media bias, as USC jumped over Bama and LSU from the summer edition of the BlogPoll.

Next week we will have a full slate of games to base our votes off of and I will need y'alls help (NOBODY COMMENTED BEFORE IT WAS TIME TO SEND IT BACK IN!!!) because I need an adult with me at all times!!!
