We here at BSD always have enjoyed participating in other blogs/websites College Pick 'Em Challenge, so this year we decided to do our own thing:

Blogger So Dear is starting a new contest this year which will take place over the course of the season. Each week I will pick five ACC games a week, including Wake Forest, and you pick the five winners AGAINST THE SPREAD. The picks will be included at the beginning of each week and will have the lines listed. The lines which are listed at the beginning of the week when the thread goes up will be the official lines. I REPEAT: THE LINES THAT GO UP AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK WILL BE FINAL. I realize they will shift slightly and if there is an injury during the week I reserve the right to switch out games prior to Thursday.

In addition, each week you will have the opportunity to pick a "Lock of the Week." This is not required, but if you choose the lock correctly you will receive two points for getting it correct. Each normal pick is worth one point, and picking the "Lock of the Week" incorrectly will result in a loss of one point (whereas you simply receive 0 points for not getting normal picks right). The winner at the end of the year will get a prize which is yet to be determined, but it will be nice.

Picking against the spread
Line listed when the thread goes up is final, barring any changes by me which will be by Thursday each week

Scoring:

2 points for "lock of the week" pick correct
1 point for normal pick correct
0 points for wrong normal pick
-1 points for "lock of the week" pick incorrect
