My Take on Wake- Thin Line Getting Thinner

What I should say is the Deacons are hurting for healthy offensive linemen, the list of which has been reduced by one. Right tackle Colin Summers was watching practice today while wearing a boot. Trainer Don Steelman said that Summers strained a muscle in his calf, which he doesn’t, at this time, think is an injury serious enough to bring Summers’ availability for the Sept. 1 opener against Liberty into question. Steelman said Summers will be evaluated daily, but don’t expect to see him in uniform for tomorrow’s second scrimmage of the preseason camp set for 10 a.m. at BB&T Field.
