Senior C.J. Harris and freshman Tyler Cavanaugh led the Deacs in scoring with 16 points a piece. Cavanaugh continued to show off his nice stroke as he went 2-4 from behind the arc and was 4-5 from the charity stripe. Cavanaugh also led the team in rebounds with 9 boards. Harris struggled with his shot as he went only 5-15 on field goals, but he did have 5 assists.

Travis McKie and Arnaud Adala Moto both had solid games and finished with double figures in scoring and 5 rebounds a piece. Moto was efficient as he scored 11 points on just 8 field goal attempts. Travis shot 50% from the field, but it was surprising that he didn't make it to the foul line all night. Over the course of the season Travis will learn how to get to the foul line from the small forward position. Daniel Green also grabbed 5 boards and made his only shot attempt of the night to finish with 2 points.

Chase Fischer and Madison Jones were two bright spots coming off the bench. Fischer scored 8 points, going 2-2 from behind the arc, had 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Jones went 5-7 from the field scoring 10 points, and he also had 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Codi MIller-McIntyre had a solid all around game for only 13 minutes of action. He scored 9 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists. Aaron Rountree also played well in limited minutes. The freshman finished with 2 points, 3 assists, and a steal.

Neither Devin Thomas nor Andre Washington played due to injury. Thomas is recovering from surgery, and Washington sustained a minor concussion during black & gold madness.

Mark Gibson led Brock with 21 points.

On October 20 (tomorrow) Wake will take on Ryerson University, who is supposedly a better team than Brock, at 7 p.m.
