Click sheet to enlarge

As the 2012 recruiting process is in full blast right now, Wake Forest has essentially cut their list down to 10-15 prospects that they want to take. While the staff will continue to evaluate and talk to other players, the players listed above are the primary (and only) targets that we are looking at right now.

Color Code:
Green = Player is very interested in Wake Forest
Orange = Player has some interest in Wake Forest
Red = Player has little to no interest in Wake Forest
Black = Player's interest in Wake Forest has not been evaluated yet

What about Woodbury? Did you not include him since we don’t have a shot?

I haven't heard anything about Woodbury in a long time.

I’ll double check to see if he’s on the radar.

Andre Washington and Marshall Wood's AAU team (East Coast Fusion) just lost in the AAU National Championship Sweet 16

Aaron Rountree plays at 4 with the CP3 All-Stars (on a team with Harrell, Purvis, Dillard, and Graham). Woodbury and Abrahamson are in the Sweet 16 as well with the All-Iowa team. If both teams win, they will meet each other in the Elite Eight.

The Martin Bros have had several close games...

Including their first playoff game where they were down 9 with 1:15 left, forced OT and then hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win it.

Should be a decent matchup, but I expect the CP3’s and Aaron Rountree to pull this one off.

CP3's up 24-15 after first quarter.

Abrahamson has hit a couple of shots early, but Rountree hasn’t been too aggressive. Shawn Lester of CP3’s has 12 points and 4 3-pointers already. Has offers from Duquesne and Charlotte. This could be a huge game for his career because of the amount o high major coaches at the game.

Martin Bro's closed the gap, but CP3 stretched it back out in the 2nd half.

Rountree just had a nice move to put CP3’s up 49-42 at the end of the third. They need to go ahead and close this out because of the comeback ability of the Martin Bros.

Up 5 under 2 mins left.

Martin Bros just missed a 3 that would have cut the lead to 2 points. With no shot clock this will be tricky for the comeback. CP3’s will need to make free throws though to put it away.

Mike Gesell (Nebraska Gatorade POY) missed that 3 BTW

BC, Stanford, Harvard, Creighton, Nebraska, UVA, and Utah are involved in his recruitment (SG 2012, 93 overall on ESPN).

Woodbury pulls Martin Bros within 3.

Aaron Rountree responds with 2 big free throws of his own. Under a minute left, CP3’s up by 5.

3 pt game, 5 seconds left...CP3's are gonna get this one.

Rountree hit a lot of free throws down the stretch for CP3’s.

Hopefully will have recaps/stats from Twitter about Rountree/Woodbury/Abrahamson coming up shortly.

Tweet from Brian Flinn (runs several basketball websites)

@BSD_RaJohnston Woodbury never really got it going, Abrahamson scored 14. Rountree probably the most impressive overall out of the three

Jank visited campus yesterday.

No word as of yet on how he enjoyed it.

Tweeted last night “I have some thinkin to do”. Could go either way, but as an optimist that screams that he may commit soon.
