You're welcome.

Star-divide

Wake Forest is averaging 34.5 ppg (35th) and allowing 21.8 ppg (40th)

  • FSU is averaging  34.8 ppg (32nd) and allowing 17.0 (22nd)
  • FSU and Wake Forest rank 13th and 16th respectively in passing offense nationally
  • On the other side of the coin, FSU ranks 115th, and Wake 99th in rushing offense (that has to change)
  • FSU averages 6.4 YPP. Wake averages 5.7 YPP
  • Wake ranks 43rd in total offense @ 422.5 ypg. Florida State is at  407.5, good enough for 57th.
  • Chris Givens leads the ACC in receiving ypg at 124.5 (2nd place is Dwight Jones of UNC at 102.8 ypg)
  • Givens also is 26th in the country in yards from scrimmage per game at 128. He is 6th in the country in YPP @ 17.7.
  • If Givens kept up his production the entire year, he would end the season with 81 receptions, 1,494 yards, and 12 touchdowns
  • Wake Forest converts 46.03% of 3rd downs (29/63). That's good enough for 35th in the country. FSU is 25th at 47.92% (23/49). That includes 3/10 against Clemson.
  • The Deacs rank 26th in opponent punt returns @ 4.33 yards per return (on just 3 returns). FSU ranks 85th, with 5 returns for 49 yards. Maybe this is the week that Scooby finally gets in the endzone.
  • Jimmy Newman leads the Deacs in scoring at 42 points (9 FGs, 15 EPs). Chris Givens is 2nd at 24 points (4 TDs)
  • Cyhl Quarles leads the Deacs in tackles at 34 (17 assisted, 17 solo). Scott Betros has 23 tackles, but only 5 solo.
  • Mike Harris leads FSU in tackles with 25 (15 solo, 10 assisted).
  • Florida State ranks 30th in the country with 31.5 TFL (12th in TFLPG @ 7.88). Wake Forest sits at 89th with 22.0 (T-73rd with 5.5 pg)
  • FSU is -2 in turnover margin (T-82nd), WFU sits at 0 (T-62nd)
  • Wake Forest is 20/22 in red zone scoring (90.91%/T-23rd), but is 4th in the country in FG% @ 40.91%...this needs to go down.
  • FSU is 13/15 in RZ scoring (86.67%/T-46th), and T-15th in FG% @ 33%. There could be a lot of FG's in the game this weekend.
  • If Wake Forest defeats FSU this weekend, it will be the only time in school history that the Deacs have started 3-0 in the ACC.
  • 90x145. The size of the new scoreboard that will debut at BB&T Field on Saturday.
  • 2-0. Wake's record at home this season.
  • 0-1. FSU's record on the road this season.
  • 4-1. What Wake's record will hopefully be at 3:30 on Saturday.
  • If I missed any critical ones let me know and I'll drop them in here.

    Very similar numbers.

FSU has played better teams than we have though. Can’t wait for Saturday!
