Al-Farouq Aminu followed in the footsteps of former teammates James Johnson and Jeff Teague from 2009 and got drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers
Aminu made a fashion statement by rockin' the Urkel glasses that were "Made in China" and threw it back a few years with what appeared to be the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" handshake with his brothers.
Al-Farouq was an integral part of Wake Forest last year averaging over 15 points and 10 rebounds per game, and now he will team up with a core of young talent in LA, including #1 overall pick last year Blake Griffin, who is fully recovered from his knee injury last year.
Making the jump to the NBA was clearly the right move for Aminu and we wish him nothing but the best here at Blogger So Dear in all his endeavors ahead.
