SBI MLS Rookie of the Week: Zack Schilawski

PrintWhen newly-drafted forward Zack Schilawski thanked the wrong team for drafting him at the 2010 MLS Draft, New England Revolution fans figured to forgive him pretty easily. After Saturday, it's safe to say Schilawski has more than made up for it.
The Wake Forest producted notched a hat-trick on Saturday, helping the Revs post a 4-1 victory over Toronto FC. The performance earned Schilawski SBI MLS Rookie of the Week honors for MLS Week Three.
Schilawski had some competition for the honor from a familiar face. Former Wake Forest teammate Ike Opara turned in a strong match for the San Jose Earthquakes against the Chicago Fire, scoring the game-winning goal to give the Quakes a vital road victory.
