What's The Verdict?
After much discussion on the DeaconSports.com forums and talking with friends in the real world, I decided that the only way to get a real answer on this would be to make a poll on BloggerSoDear and call this the end all be all!
Yes or No are the only answers but let's turn this into a season-discussion thread as we reflect on the season and the careers of these great seniors.

Yes=Success!
I have to say that the season was a huge success.
Not only did we make the NCAA Tournament, which was the goal to start the year, but we won a game against a team that was #1 in the country at a point in the season.
Dino has improved over the past 3 years and he also got the post-season monkey off his back which will be great for years to come!

Absolutely
20 and 10, with a victory in the NCAA. There are a zillion schools out there that would die to have that kind of season.
I really believe the major reason Dino catches the amount of flack he does is due to getting the head coaching position through the untimely demise of Skip. Kind of 2 strikes against him in some peoples minds before he ever got started.
Every move he makes is questioned by his detractors…unfortunate but true.
Good post.
Dino obviously has some flaws, most noticeably he does not run a very good offense. I honestly believe that this is more because of the players that we have had, and we will see in due time with the shooters we have coming in whether or not this is the case.

YES
Why?
1) I know many people disagree, but the first round win was a big reason why. Maybe not a zillion schools that would die for that, but certainly another ~315 that would.
2) They played some really great games – Gonzaga, Xavier, Georgia Tech, Maryland along with the blowout against UNC were highlights for me
3) Ari, CJ, and Tony Woods. Imagine what this team would be like if they were able to take a Jim Grobe approach and redshirt players for a year and then get 4 years out of them…
4) Ish Smith – really took over and played great all year. He will leave as one of my favorite (although frustrating) Deacs
I’m interested to see where this team goes and what Dino does with it. I say give him another few years to develop the class that’s coming in next year and see what we do.
I am a little afraid to see the step back that we could take next year with 7 of our top 9 being freshmen and sophomores. However i can see the 2011-2012 season, with Woods and Walker as seniors, CJ and Ari as Juniors, and the 5 new recruits as Sophomores being really good.
Will next year be a rebuilding year? We will be very young, yet very talented.
Next year may be a rebuilding year, but I am very excited to see how these guys turn out.
I think Tony is going to be an absolute stud next year.

Edited to say that I think TC and Tony Woods will be very good.
I think Chennault may be the best player we have coming in and he is the lowest rated according to ESPN.
I have said this before and you can put me on record here but I think Tony Woods will make an All-ACC team before he leaves.
