Signing Day Open Thread

I wasn't sure how to best go about doing this, so I'll just make this an open thread so anyone can chip in and I'll update in the comments as the day goes on. So far, Wake has had 13 letters come in. Click through to see all of the newest Deacs and all the latest Signing Day news from Blogger So Dear.

And don't forget, you can check out bios and videos of all the members of the 2010 class on the official site

The official site has vids of the coaches talking about each signee. Here is Allen’s, for example.

Yeah, good point Jake—official site is rolling the offers in as they arrive and have little bits about each player. And of course, Scout will have good recruiting info, as will ESPN. But along the way, we will try to give some insight on our guys.

Bah da da da da da da da, Go Deacs.

UPDATE: Both Dylan Heartsill, and Daniel Blitch’s letters have come in as of 10:30. That brings the total to 15 before 11 a.m. The two OL in a row hopefully spell good things to come for the Demon Deacon line that is in desperate need for depth in the future.

Bah da da da da da da da, Go Deacs.

UPDATE:Brandon Terry and Kevin Johnson in, and official site reporting that Nick Knott’s letter is in as well, meaning that the Deacs still got their RB!

Still waiting on Joseph Byrd’s letter. And we also need Cooper, so that might be it.

Bah da da da da da da da, Go Deacs.

Repeated once again because my mind is blown, I can’t believe we still have Knott after everything indicated he wasn’t coming last week. Great job by the coaches to work everything out, and if Byrd signs, this class is huge. If he doesn’t, I expect him to greyshirt, seeing as he already “signed” and put Wake gear on.

Bah da da da da da da da, Go Deacs.

Knott will likely prep for a year and come to Wake after that

But Knott signed…

Are you thinking Byrd will prep?

I’m assuming Cooper is just waiting to do a big old announcement with the other guys on his team in the afternoon. Not worried at all, from everything I’ve heard he’s still good to go.

Bah da da da da da da da, Go Deacs.

Byrd is coming in Spring 2011…he’s gotta recover from the ACL tear

and I’m not sure why Knott signed, maybe just to give the coaches assurance that he really wants to be here

They are all in now, including Byrd.

Welcome, new Deacs!
