Duke outlasts Deacs

Tough loss, but Wake's guys certainly did not give in.  Here is the postgame Haiku:

I hate the Plumlees

Not an intentional foul

AHHHHHHHH
Time to get the panic button out of storage? A little dust off given what we have ahead? That Miami OT loss may prove huge given these upcoming games. Man I love going to UNC when they have just lost 3/4, they wont be out to prove anything…
Also, is UVA for real?

1/20 @ UNC 7:00 PM
1/23 UVA 4:00 PM
1/28 @ GT 7:00 PM
2/02 MIA 7:00 PM
2/06 @ UVA 12:00 PM

Also, I don’t mean to be so negative. I just feel like this next stretch will really tell us if we are going to be a top 4 ACC team or not.

I don’t think UVA is for real…but they are better than people predicted. But we shall see.

Interesting that the early schedule has us against the tough teams on the road (miami, Duke, UNC, GT) and the less tough teams at home (Maryland, NC State, UVA). Good tests – I just hope we pull out one of these next two road games to get some confidence on the road going forward.

We just have to weather the storm for now. If we can win the two home games you mentioned and steal one of the other 3, we will be in good shape. The second half of the schedule is more forgiving.
