Travis McKie, a 6'7" combo forward from Richmond, Virginia gave the Demon Deacons their 4th verbal commitment in the class of 2010 this afternoon. McKie is a 4-star recruit according to Scout.com and is rated as the sixth best small forward in the nation (36th overall). He joins guards J.T. Terrell and Tony Chennault as well as big man Melvin Tabb as early Wake Forest 2010 verbals. While this class is probably not finished, McKie's commitment already makes this class one of Wake's best and most balanced with respect to position. He chose Wake over offers from Clemson and Virginia, among others, and strong interest from North Carolina. We'll have more later, but here are some links to wet the appetite.
