Best conference

I may be changing my mind towards BE. The ACC isn’t physical enough to play the top teams.

Unless Carowhina toughens up, they may have a tough time with the top three or four teams in the BE.

With all the zones in the BE Duke would have a tough time getting into the middle to set up shots.

To me it’s how the #5-7 teams of each conference shake out. I’m not sure VT, Miami and BC are as good as their BE counterparts.

Big East

Its definitely tough to determine the best between the ACC and the Big East. New rankings this week:

Big East: #1, #4, #5, #10, #13, 23
ACC: #3, #6, #7, #12

The problem is is that there are 16 BE teams and 12 ACC teams. Is GT better than St. Johns, USF, DePaul? In my opinion, yes. Is Virginia better than the bottom teams in the BE…its close, but I think yes. But like you said, I think the mid-tier BE teams are better than the mid-tier ACC teams…so its really close, but I picked the Big East based on the strength throughout the top and middle of the conference.
