Question for Jake/Rickman who know more about our basketball than I do: what offense are we attempting to run? I see plays every now and then, but I don’t see movement at all 80% of the time….what are we trying to do out there? Is the emphasis on the drive? Are we trying to get it inside? What are we doing? It’s an honest question.
Sounds good I may start doing that, more knowledgeable fans over here.
I think we’ll see a similar game to this one, close first half.
I have a final to study for so I’m probably out may drop in and out.

Turnovers did us in…we shot much better than they did…they just took more shots.
51 as opposed to 66 for them. 25 turnovers to 5 turnovers.
They finished 1-18 from the 3 pt line we went 4-7.
They did what it took to win..all the little things. Protecting the ball, playing defense, making foul shots.. they are a very well-coached team.
We need a good nickname for the Ware twins
I swear they’re clones. In the UNC media guide they have the exact same interests, favorite foods, favorite quote, things they love most, everything. It’s hilarious. And they’re so boring.

I just don’t get it. Sure it was ugly, but they looked in control the entire second half. I mean shit, we gave them our best punch for about 25-30 minutes and they shot under 10% from three and still won by double digits. This team has 3 studs and a lockdown defender, as well as a good freshman PG. I just don’t get it.

Haha it happens I commented on the Purdue is awful thread. I have 5 finals but one is tomorrow and one is take home so only 3 next week.
Yeah my last exam is Saturday at 9…I’ll be good on Saturday at 12 because Spanish is over forever then too.

Sportscenter is doing this now, so is Yahoo! Sports. Instead of talking to players—they go to their Twitters and then just block quote what they said. So in our game story, we can just write LD Williams had this to say after the game on his Twitter:

I dunno—he made Heinrich, Gooden, Collison and Aaron Miles into pretty damned good players at KU
And he turned Hansbrough from a goofy M’Fer to one of the better players in ACC history (as much as I hate his dumb face). Improved Ellington his whole career, really helped Danny Green.
He’s not the best Xs and Os guy in the world, but he knows what he has to work with and he lets them play their game.
