Pumped about this one. I think Farouq comes out with a pretty big game, somewhere around 20/10. I think Purdue as a better all around team though. With their man coverage I expect us to keep it close and for the game to come down to the end with Purdue coming out on top around 70-64.
Should be a great game.
I’m pretty pumped, we need to get the ball inside and do a better job of getting down the lane. There’s no reason why we should ever shoot more than 10 threes in this game unless we chuck up a lot at the end needing to hit a three to come back. If we have more than 5 or 6 threes at halftime we’re going to be down by a decent amount.
Wingzone is on the way…talking with some guys about the W&M debacle and better ways for us to break the zone. 2-3 matchup should probably see us get a guy at the top of the key and try to outpass the zone with more movement from our guards.
We have to see better off the ball movement from everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a team move as little off the ball as ours have. Giving the coaches a little slack to see what Wozjick (spelling? I can never remember) can do with the big guys. Need to stop posting up 4 and 5 feet away, putting it on the ground, and failing to pass out of the double team IMO.
Farouq is a much much better passer than he gets credit for. Awesome pass there to Tony who is playing like complete shit

Isn’t he the 5’6" dude? I’ve balled against the short black guy before that’s a walk on he’s really good.
Oh I know he’s on the team, he hasn’t played though unless I went blind for a few.
I’ve been in an elevator with Bob Ryan (Boston sportswriter, just for clarification) at the last 3 ACC tourneys. This year he was like “we have to stop meeting like this” it was pretty funny.
Also my room at the tourney last year was across from Dino’s and his parents and kids. He wasn’t happy after the Maryland game hah.
I have a lot of dumb stupid celeb stories like the time Musberger went to the bathroom at half of the Clemson-Wake game last year and he told me he only had a minute to go and he didn’t know if that’d be enough time, and he wore white tennis shoes with a suit

I went to Chapel Hill to visit a friend last year and went to Playa’s…walk in to the bathroom right away and see Psycho Travel in the stall next to me…i snuck a look…wasn’t overly impressed with what I saw.
